RuPauls DragCon is an event I wait all year for! Making the coolest outfits to wear, complete with wigs, nails, make-up caked on to the gods! The picture opportunity's are plentiful at the con! Lots of Puns from the show! My first day outfit was a spiderweb buste and four gored skirt I made the night before. I paired it with a blue wig and tiara with the queen spider on top. The second day I rocked a dream in sequence, sequence dress (I made for vegas last year), foil fringe wig and sparkly converse.
I watch RuPauls DragRace in anticipation of the winner, of course the winner will be announced hopefully tomorrow. I'm team Yvie Oddly. She has become such an inspiration to me. Her confidence, her honesty and her creativity is endearing.
At the con, my best friend and I were fortune to get photos with Rajah O' Harah, Carson Crestly in drag and Acid Betty. It was a truly amazing day. I also go pictures with Dragpool which is fortuitous because I love DeadPool! We spotted some of our favorite Queens wondering about the con, Laganja Estranja, Adora Delono, Milk, Trash Queen, Alyssa Edwards, Yvie Oddly and some Queens where there but we didnt get a chance to see them, Sharon Needles, Alaska Thunderfuck and Trixie. Overall I still had the time of my life!
We also took my son the last day of the con. He loved it! There was DragQueen reading time, arts and crafts and a jumpy castle. But my little dude loved taking pictures in the selfy area and spinning all the prize wheels. He loved seeing the queens and their outfits! He wore a golden spiderweb and sequence shirt I made him and skeleton leggings with a blue wig. This kid loves dressing up and I love to support it!
