Welcome to 2020! What we as humans get to look forward to in this new year..... well World War III is an actual possibility and currently we are experiencing the climate apocalypse. To add insult to injury, I walked into 2020 just as I walked out of 2019 depressed, confused and self hating. However I manged to allow myself to forget the awkwardness of the holidays and dress up, wig out and of course make some new sparkling dresses to ring in the new year.
Although I allowed myself a breath of fun and frivolity, I still woke up depressed and confused on January 1st. As my family would say, get over it and feel better, sadly not always the case. But alas, I have school starting next week, a kid to take care of and I guess clothes to make.
