Things I'm Loving This March

Here we are three months into the new year. The first two months have been super rocky. I found out I am pregnant ( I'm high risk so here hoping things work out!), my husband had hernia surgery, we have been working around the house to spruce it up and I have some super cool projects in the works (nothing special).

Last month was a bit of a hard one with the pregnancy, hormones' and keeping myself together, I hadn't felt well enough to get dressed up for val's day or the like. My birthday passed as well last week, the same day my husband went into surgery, so it too was a rocky emotional day. This is why lasts months love it list was so scant. However this month I am having to find more things to help keep my mind busy and find joy in the little things! Here is this months love it list.

The Witches Cookery

I love this YouTube channel. It might be her soothing German accent or just the way she talks about her witching advice and experince that is enjoyable. I have been really enjoying her channel lately and highly recommend it for any witches out there!

WindChime

I am not a fan of spending any time at Joanne's but since its the closet fabric store to me I go there when I need something I don't have time to go to my fabric store to get or if my fabric store doesn't have it. That said I had to go to Joanne's one day for fabric my fabric store didn't have for a project I was working on. As I was walking to the register I peeked at the outdoor things and found this pretty windchime. I have been longing for a windchime but haven't been able to find one I really liked. I loved the aesthetic of this gold, starry windchime. I had to get it, and I'm glad I did. It is so nice to hear the gentle chimes on a breezy day while sitting and enjoying some tea while tending the garden.

House Plants

I have been doing some re-decorating around my house. I sometimes spend way to long on tiktok and have been enthralled by the houseplant tock. Then while watching the Witches Cookery she too has house plants that make her space so lively and aesthetically pleasing. I have been inspired and will be adding more house plants over the next few months! It does add a lovely bit of whimsy into the house!

The Coach Carriage Cardigan

Not going to lie sometimes walking my son to school I feel so out of place. I live in a suburban neighborhood but my family is in no way suburban. I especially stick out like a sore thumb and sometimes not in the best way. Now in the morning walking my kid to school I am not trying to look like I'm walking the runway in Paris. But I'm not trying to look like one of these suburban house wife clones either in there yoga pants and t-shirt variation. I like to stand out and try not to look as poor as I really am. So I was lucky enough to be sent an insiders invitation to a private sale on Coach's website. Yaay! Love me some Coach, as its the only "luxury" brand I can "afford". So I bought me a nice new Coach cardigan because its time I stop wearing my old nasty hoodies to pick up my kid from school and start to embrace the fashion designer aesthetic I have as a fashion designer!
