This last weekend was the fourth of July even though I feel this holiday is filled with a lot of pain especially for the native American community that is reeling from the discovery of mass graves of children, with untold numbers waiting discovery in the US. It was hard to feel any kind of patriotism. But it is still summer so we decided it might be nice to spend a day at the pool with the kid.
A side from some sun burnedness, I decided to wear a dress I created for my graduate collection, Tea Time, for the day. The floral dress was made last month inspired by a iced tea pitcher. I paired the dress with my Lydia Deets hat, Killstar belt, heart drip sunnys and black sandals. I loved this looked but accidently broke the sleeve. A simple fix.
